Canadian MAiD Curriculum Partnership with McGill University

Are you a MAiD assessor or provider? If so, we need your help.

CAMAP is currently leading the development and production of the Canadian MAiD Curriculum Project – a nationally standardized, fully accredited, bilingual educational curriculum for MAiD. As part of this project, we will be evaluating the impact of the implementation of the curriculum approximately 12-18 months after it has launched (launch due to happen this fall).

Our project team has partnered with colleagues at McGill University who are hoping to study, improve, and standardize MAiD practice and training specifically in the context of suffering.

Together we have developed a survey to better understand the current practice and experience of MAiD assessors and providers in Canada with the aim of improving MAiD practice and support. This survey will act as a baseline snapshot for our curriculum project and help us understand any need for and impact of training, continuing professional development, and other supports.

Whether you have been involved in 1 case or 100, as an assessor or as a provider, we want to hear from you.
