Research Day Location: UBC Robson Square, Vancouver

(PLEASE NOTE: this Research Day venue is a small distance from the Marriott hotel where the main MAiD conference from May 31 – June 1 is being held)

At the 2019 Research Day we will have oral presentations of research abstracts. Abstracts may be submitted until the deadline of March 15, 2019. These will be peer reviewed and the ones accepted will be chosen for a short presentation (10 minutes with 5 for questions). Abstracts may be for completed projects or those in progress. Accepted abstracts will be posted at the main meeting (May 31-June 1) and published on the CAMAP website.


300 word maximum for all abstracts
For completed projects, or projects with preliminary results to present, your abstract should include these headings:

  • Background
  • Objectives
  • Methods
  • Results/findings
  • Conclusions
For projects in progress, your abstract should include the headings:

  • Background
  • Objectives
  • Methods and analysis
  • Ethics and dissemination
