The objectives for this case sharing webinar series are that after participating, attendees will be better able to: (1) Identify the elements of complex clinical scenarios when persons request MAiD. (2) Constructively critique various approaches to assess and/or provide MAiD in those complex scenarios. (3) Interpret standards and guidelines in MAiD practice with patients and healthcare provider colleagues. (4) Identify and analyze areas of complexity in MAiD practice to anticipate potential challenges and plan appropriate responses. (5) Implement high-quality end-of-life care. (6) Analyze colleagues' approaches to assessing MAiD medico-legal criteria to identify strategies for improving their own practice. (7) Maintain a supportive community of practice.

Note: CAMAP will continue to offer CME credits though other educational programming, including the Community of Practice (Forum), the annual national conference, and the Canadian MAiD Curriculum (CMC).

CAMAP is considering recording the Case Sharing webinars, with presenter and moderator consent, which may be offered at a future date/time with the same registration and eligibility criteria in place as for the live webinars. This would allow eligible members who could not attend the scheduled date to view the webinar on an alternate date/time as scheduled by CAMAP.
