MAiD: Where do I start? First steps into MAiD and what I wish I knew before getting started.

Are you interested in MAiD but not sure where to begin? Join us for an open Q&A and discussion session designed specifically for clinicians who are new to MAiD or exploring the possibility of becoming involved. Hear from a diverse panel of physicians, nurse practitioners, and care coordinators—some just starting out, others with years of experience—from both urban and rural settings. Bring your questions, concerns, and curiosity. No question is too small, and no experience is required.

Who Should Attend?
This session is designed for Canadian physicians and nurse practitioners who are exploring the possibility of becoming involved in MAiD assessment or provision, and MAiD care coordinators (e.g., MAiD nurse navigators, MAiD program coordinators).

Whether you are early in your exploration or preparing to take your first steps, this event aims to answer your questions, address uncertainties, and offer insights from experienced practitioners.

Please note: This event is intended as a safe and supportive space for current or potential MAiD practitioners. It is not intended for researchers, administrators, or others whose work touches MAiD peripherally but who do not foresee a clinical or coordination role in the MAiD process.

This session is free for all CAMAP members and non-members.

Limit of one ticket per person. Tickets are non-transferable and must be purchased for personal use only.
