The CAMAP Emeritus Council is composed of former members of the Board of Directors who have made significant contributions to the organization and to the advancement of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Canada.
The Council serves as an advisory resource to the organization, supporting organizational continuity, preserving institutional knowledge, and providing insight informed by past leadership experience and involvement in the development of CAMAP.
The Emeritus Council may be consulted on matters such as:
Members may also be invited to attend portions of Board meetings or retreats as non-voting participants, where appropriate.
Emeritus Council members are appointed by the CAMAP Board of Directors and serve renewable five-year terms.
