The Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers is a not-for-profit organization. It is led by a dedicated volunteer board of directors that is a mix of assessors and providers (including specialists, family doctors and nurse practitioners) and non-clinicians who have organizational expertise.
CAMAP’s Inaugural Executive Director
The Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers is pleased to announce it has hired its inaugural Executive Director, Sue Chaffey.
Sue started with CAMAP on May 30, 2022. She has nearly two decades of experience in the non-profit world, primarily in healthcare philanthropy and higher education. She has extensive experience in leading organizations through transformation and has a strong background in fundraising, strategic planning, business operations, and stakeholder relations.
“We are thrilled to have Sue join us at this important stage in our organization’s growth” reports President of the Board, Dr. Stefanie Green. “CAMAP has grown significantly over the last couple of years, and we look forward to the expertise and talent Sue brings to our organization to help establish the solid foundations we need for longterm, sustainable growth, increasing our membership and expanding on the services we provide to our members.”
Sue is passionate about building strong, sustainable relationships and seeing organizations tackle challenges that lead to significant growth and deeper impact. She has done this throughout her career as the Executive Director of the Northern Lights Health Foundation (Alberta), as the Vice President of Philanthropy with the University Hospital Foundation and recently as Assistant Dean, Advancement with the University of Alberta. Sue brings with her a great record of success, a strong business acumen, a deep understanding of fundraising and the ability to develop strategic partnerships.
